Great for a little pre-dinner snack! This creamy dip has less than 170 calories and tastes superb with the addition of bacon bits and black olives.
Serves 2 l Prep time: 5min
1 x 120g packet of baby spinach
2 TBSP butter
2 TBSP cream OR can use cream cheese
Garlic salt, to taste OR 1 clove garlic + sea salt to taste
Ground black pepper, to taste
*Optional add-ins: Bacon bits Chopped black olives
Melt butter in a frying pan over medium heat. Add baby spinach and allow to wilt into the butter, about 4-5 minutes. Add cream, salt and pepper to taste, continue to heat for another few minutes so nice and warmed through. Add bacon bits and olives if you’re having those too, and serve!
Makes enough for two people as a side.
