Our mission at The Keto Food Co, is to not only provide you with high quality products, but also as much free education as possible through online webinars, blogs, recipes and in person events... our collective goal is to give people the tools to thrive with ketogenic & low carb nutrition for themselves!

James Ehau - Managing Director (Ngati Porou)
James is a former Les Mills personal trainer & entrepreneur. His own personal family tragedy led him to discover the science behind the Ketogenic way of eating after father passed away of type 2 diabetes in 2004. This was the catalyst that caused him to search for answers for the next decade in order to protect himself, whanau and friends from this overwhelming and preventable epidemic that we're now faced with around the world.
James has been attending cutting edge medical and low carb/keto conferences in the United States for the past 9 years to order to stay current with the latest research. His goal is to help as many people as possible through providing high quality & free education around low carb and ketogenic nutrition in conjuction with regular exercise.

Mikki Williden PhD - Chief Scientific Officer
Our resident keto, low carb & fasting expert and nutrition rock star is registered nutritionist, Dr Mikki Williden. Mikki graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition, and a Bachelor of Physical Education from the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. She attained her Masters in Science (Human Nutrition) with First Class Honours in 2003, focusing on the development of a childhood obesity prevention programme and obtained her PhD in 2011.
She has been privately consulting with clients since 2006, and has worked with thousands of people both in NZ and internationally to help them reach their health and performance goals. She has a thriving online nutrition business and is the founder of Mondays Matter, an 8 week group plan that utilises PSMF fasting for optimal fat loss results. She’s contributed to many publications including Be Well (NZ Herald) and is a sought after speaker in the health, nutrition and longevity field. Mikki is the host of Mikkipedia, a podcast that interviews world-renown experts in health, nutrition, science and performance, and also co-hosts a weekly endurance sport podcast called 'Fitter Radio'. She has worked with some notable New Zealanders, helping them achieve their nutrition-related goals, including Nigel Latta (on 'The Sugar' episode) and Simon Gault (on the documentary series 'Why are we Fat?').

Tāmati Norman - Director Business Development (Ngati Kuri)
Tāmati is a health entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in community, Maori, and Indigenous business development (in the public and private sectors). His motivation is to improve health and economic outcomes after seeing Diabetes and obesity-related diseases cut a swath through many communities and his whanau.
He has worked between Aotearoa, New Zealand, and his wife's home in Papua New Guinea since 2011, developing sustainable agriculture and export markets for Coconut oil, Vanilla and other spices.
Visiting Rebekah's home Misima Island in 2009, and subsequent research on Coconut Oil and traditional nutrition led him to research the impacts of the standard western diet on indigenous health, a relatively new entrant to a 40,000-year-old society.
He is passionate about helping others understand how their food choices affect their over all health and quality of life.
